Teams have started confirming for next years soccer world cup 2010. The first batch of teams apart from host country South Africa are Australia, South Korea, North Korea, Netherlands Japan.
Interestingly Netherland became first European country to qualify for world cup 2010 by beating Iceland by 2 to 1. South Koreans for playing in Dubai against United Arab Emirates got their qualification by beating UAE (2-1). The big disappointment for Saudi Arabia playing in Riyadh against South Korea they went down after drawing the match.
